A few words …
Firstly, a huge thank you for entering the Letchworth Garden City Eagles YFC Summer Tournament. Events like this simply don’t happen without the support of clubs, coaches, players and families — we’re delighted to have you with us and hope everyone enjoys a great day of football, community spirit and competitive play.
Respect & Behaviour
Letchworth Garden City Eagles YFC operates a zero-tolerance approach to poor behaviour and fully supports the FA’s Respect Policy.
-
Spectators must remain outside the roped-off playing area at all times
-
The roped area is for players and coaches only (maximum of two coaches per team)
-
Coaches must remain outside the pitch during games to allow players to use the full width of the playing area
Team officials are responsible for the conduct of their players and supporters. Any behaviour that falls below expected standards may result in the team being removed from the remainder of the tournament.
Ground Rules
-
No smoking or vaping anywhere on the grounds
-
No dogs permitted within the club grounds
-
No alcohol allowed on site — anyone found with alcohol will be asked to leave
Food, Fun & Atmosphere
You’ll find a selection of local food traders offering tasty street-food options, alongside an ice cream van for those all-important summer treats. Music will be playing throughout the day to help keep the atmosphere lively and enjoyable.
Subject to the weather, we’ll also have a large inflatable attraction on site — perfect for players, siblings and friends to burn off some energy between matches. All-day wristbands will be available to purchase, giving unlimited access for as much bouncing as they like.
As ever, British summer weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing your own gazebo or shelter. Clubs are also very welcome to bring team banners or flags to help create a real festival feel around the pitches.
We hope you have a brilliant day with us at Letchworth Garden City Eagles YFC.
